ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Application form must be accompanied with the following
Admission Forms:
- Registration form (s) are available both Online/Offline modes.
- Registration form shall be made available after payment of registration fees of RS 1,000/-.
- In case of online registration, the applicant will receive the admission kit on the registered Email Id along with the receipt of the registration fees.
- All applications have to be submitted to the college’s admission office or mailed to the admission department along with all necessaryaccompanying documents specified within the stipulated time to ensure a valid registration.
Accompanying Documents:
- Tuition fee of the necessary course.
- Attested copies of birth certificate, address proof and last qualifying examination.
- Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ST/OBC certificate etc).
- Migration/Transfer certificate.
- Four passport size photographs.

Answer: Focus is laid on the overall development of the students, this is the reason why we have incorporated communication & personality development classes within the curriculum. Special class on group discuss & personal interviews is also be provided before the campus recruitment. # inter-department competitions are held which requires students to make & present specific topic improving their technical and presentation knowledge.
Answer: Backup off all essential & vital classes is generally given however, in other cases notes should be collected from the other students. Backup’s cannot be assumed as a right.
Answer: Mostly one month, but internship duration depends upon the company. Stipend, depend on the managerial decision of the company and the course of the interview concluded by the student.
Answer: Yes the basic kit for respective course shall be provided by the institute.
Answer: Yes, the curriculum is taught through practical exposure & live project through which anyone can develop practical skill.
Answer: All the faculties are from the industry, they have more than 7+ years of experience in their respective fields. Guest faculties that are associated have freelancing projects or are entrepreneurs which gives the students of insd kolkata more practical insights.
Answer: Every institute has restricted time frame but the mentioned course is a professional course. We always encourage all the students to go for longer duration of courses which shall make their designing skills & creativity more concrete by working on more number of projects, site visits & technical insights.
Answer: No, the low costs emi model offered by insdkolkata is very affordable and convenient by the students and their guardians.
Answer: Three to four classes of two to four hours each are held every week initially. Then the timings shall vary as per the curriculum requirements & the duration of the course enrolled in.
Answer: No, we don't have any reservation for sc/st/obc. However, we consider the same for scholarship programme for “category 4: need”.
Answer: Yes, we do (ref admission tabscholarship programme) on the basis of applications and relevant requirements received by the department. But the decision solely depends upon the management, depending on merit and need of the student.
Answer: We don't provide hostel accommodation. However, we help our students in finding hostel accommodation.
Answer: Yes we do. INSD Designers will get the opportunity to showcase their work at prominent shows & organizations including - London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week & Student Exchange Programmes with our Exchange partners in U.S and Europe to mention a few for INTERNATIONAL EVENTS and - India Runway Week, Asian Designer Week & Couture Runway Week to mention a few for DOMESTIC EVENTS whom we have collaborated with us as educational partners.
